Scramble Crossing in Shibuya

Shibuya is famous for its "scramble crossing" which is known as one of the busiest crossing in the world. They said it would be a shame if you go to Tokyo and not take a walk across this famous intersection. This is something that is just too famous to pass up, so I made sure that we have included Shibuya in our Tokyo trip itinerary.

Here's a snapshot of the famous scramble crossing. Many people are crossing all the time (can't help but wonder where did all these people come from).  What is very interesting to note here is that the flow of people crossing is very organized, despite the many people coming from all sides (that's how disciplined the Japanese people are).
Looking towards Star Bucks in the Tsutaya building - which is also one of the busiest Star Bucks in the world.

And here we are trying to blend in with the crowd :). Happy that we have finally experienced the "scramble" in Shibuya :))).

Too bad we were not able to see the famous Hachiko statue (which is another story). I hope we can go to Tokyo again next year. I want to go back to this place and do more shopping.  I will also make sure that we get the chance to visit Hachiko the next time we come here.
